ESAI's Transmission Development Collaborative

ESAI's Transmission Development Collaborative is a forum for organizing leading companies in the constructive exchange of ideas on how to stimulate appropriate investment in all transmission projects-whether intended for reliability, economic, or deliverability objectives. As such the ESAI Transmission Development Collaborative includes utilities, generators, regulators, investors, counselors, and suppliers of transmission equipment.

Transmission Development Collaborative Deliverables:

Transmission Watch - A quarterly, in-depth analysis of the future of North American transmission development. Anchored in the analysis of strategic issues facing investors, generators and merchants, this report delves into the transmission landscape and best practices therein. Each quarter will explore specific transmission projects and their effects on prices and generation values. Additionally, by utilizing ESAI's proprietary Transmission Project Database, we will analyze regional developments from the past quarter and expected changes in the months to come.

Transmission Memos - Monthly pieces between quarterlies, these shorter reports examine specific regional transmission issues. Each will contain strategic insight and details to keep readers on the cutting edge of transmission developments in North America.

Transmission Development Roundtable - A semi-annual invitation only event featuring high level discussions about the future of North American transmission. Participants include members of the TDC, and selected market leaders, with attendance limited to small manageable numbers. The first roundtable was held in Washington D.C. in September 2005. Our next roundtable will tentatively be held in spring 2008.

Customized Data Sets - As needed, our analyst team can and will deliver customized views of ESAI's proprietary Transmission Project Database.

Access to Analysts - Access to ESAI's research team for research clarifications, decision support, and data customization.
